Brushstrokes of Hope

I had the opportunity to teach the wonderful seniors at Village Concepts of Fairwood to paint beautiful flowers. Props to Bhargav and Sneha for being incredible co-teachers!

This workshop is part of a series of art workshops, “Brushstrokes of Hope” I’ve been teaching to commemorate Youth Service Day. Thanks so much to the folks at The Hershey Company and Youth Service America for providing the funding for supplies! And thanks to Sweety Saradha Arts for giving me this amazing opportunity!

GK art workshops 2021-22

From August 2021 to April 2022, I conducted multiple free painting workshops on Hindu festivals for Gopa Kuteeram Seattle. Children across US and Canada participated in these workshops. Overall attendance was in excess of 300. The kids had a lot of fun and so did I. The objective was to enrich the knowledge of various Hindu festivals via art.
